"Look around you. Where are you? Who are you with with?

I get it.

You are sitting in the same hard wooden chair you do every day. In the same classroom just waiting for the bell to ring.



Right now, you probably don't want to be here. And if you had to move, you woudnlt miss it. But honestly, have you ever even thought about it?

Moving isn't something any teenager like yourself wants to do.

I think the things we would all miss the most are our friends, and surprisingly they are too often taken for granted. You never stop to be thankful for them because it is all you know...until the move.

And the only reason you are not here to listen to me talk about myself is because I'm that person too. I take things for granted, just like the rest of us..."





About the Honors Creative Writing Podcasts:
Students are practicing writing skills by composing podcasts on topics of their choosing. You will here persuasive writing, narrative, informative writing, in addition to expression and reflection. Often, students will combine different modes of writing when composing their podcasts.
